信号源 | The Signal Source

公元 2052 年,人类收到了第一条确认的外星信号。

The Signal Source

In 2052, humanity received its first confirmed extraterrestrial signal — not from Proxima Centauri, not from TRAPPIST-1, not even from the Milky Way. The source was 240 million light-years away in the Perseus Cluster, meaning the signal began its journey while dinosaurs still walked the Earth.

But what truly silenced every astronomer was the content.

After three months of decoding, the world’s top cryptographers and linguists confirmed: this wasn’t prime numbers. This wasn’t mathematical constants. This wasn’t “hello.”

This was source code.

Specifically, a recursive function written in an elegant symbolic language. Its purpose: given a set of physical constants, compute the chemical evolutionary pathway for carbon-based life. Its output was a model — a complete derivation of how amino acids become Homo sapiens.
