I have listed products on Gumroad, Payhip, itch.io, and SellAnyCode. Each platform has different strengths:

Gumroad: Best for creators with existing audiences. High discoverability but competitive. Requires manual setup for each product.

Payhip: Best for quick listing. Simple interface, fast approval. Lower traffic than Gumroad but easier to get started.

itch.io: Best for game dev and creative tools. Community is engaged and supportive. Non-game products also work if positioned correctly.

SellAnyCode: Best for code-focused products. Developer audience, code review features. Server connectivity issues from some regions.

Universal rule: Product quality matters more than platform choice. A great product on a small platform beats a mediocre product on a big platform.
